We Are Flamm Orchards.
Flamm Orchards has proudly been a family-owned and operated fruit and vegetable farm since 1888. The original 117 acres of farmland, purchased more than a century ago, are still in active production today. For much of the mid to late 1900s, the farm focused primarily on fruit cultivation. In the 1990s and early 2000s, vegetable and strawberry production were added, helping the farm grow and diversify.
Who we are & what we do
Nestled in the rolling hills of Cobden, Illinois, Flamm Orchards boasts nearly 20 acres of strawberries, 600 acres of peach and apple trees, and 100 acres of miscellaneous vegetables. We take pride in producing the highest quality of both fruits and vegetables in the Midwest, while also maintaining a positive and progressive relationship with our customers.
Our Farm Store
In season, the Flamm Orchards Farm Store is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer season fruits and our delicious homemade sweet treats!

Flamm Orchards Farm History
After immigrating to the United States from Germany, Leonhard Flamm alongside his entire family settled in the rolling hills of Southern Illinois. In 1888, they purchased the original 117 acres that started what was to come, Flamm Orchards. Throughout time, generation after generation of the Flamm family, the farm continued to grow. In present day, Flamm Orchards boasts 2,000 acres of land and over 600 acres in apple and peach production. Although much has changed since our founding, one thing has always remained the same; we are committed to growing the highest quality, tree-ripened fruit and we are deeply rooted in Southern Illinois.
Currently, Flamm Orchards is owned and operated by the 5th and 6th generations; Jeff, Mike, Karen, Austin and Parker. We produce strawberries, peaches, apples and an assortment of vegetables. Our commercial orchard reaches all corners of the Midwest and beyond, whether you find our products on a grocery store shelf or you visit us here at the farm to pick out the perfect peck for yourself, we are so glad that you choose Flamm Orchards.
