A fresh start to the season
It’s finally here—Flamm Orchards is officially open for the season! Starting Saturday, April 26th, we’re welcoming visitors back to enjoy the very best of southern Illinois strawberries and baked goods.
We’re excited to have a good supply of fresh strawberries available starting this weekend! While supplies may be a bit more limited during the first week as we ramp up into full production, rest assured, delicious fruit is on the way.

What We Were Up to in the Off-Season
Even when our farm is quiet and fields are at rest, our mission to serve our community continues. During the off-season, Flamm Orchards was honored to receive the “Friend of the Food Banks” award at the Everything Local conference in Springfield, IL.
Since 2021, with the support of Feeding Illinois and food bank partners across the state, we’ve been able to provide over 1.8 million pounds of food to food banks—produce that otherwise would have gone to waste. These fruits and vegetables now help feed neighbors in need with fresh, nutritious food each day.
We extend our deepest thanks to Steve Ericson, director of Feeding Illinois, his incredible team, and everyone working to build a sustainable, compassionate food system throughout Illinois.
